- Full-time Overview The Director of Connections leads and organizes all connection and assimilation strategies, plans, and programs that support guests and members of our church community from the time they walk through the door to becoming fully activated members of the body.
Primarily responsible for assisting new members in developing a sense of belonging and to help current members maintain that sense of belonging. The person in this position must enjoy people and will most likely have the spiritual gift of administering the gifts of others, leadership, encouragement, and edifying others with joy, energy, warmth, and compassion. This position has the responsibility of developing processes to integrate each member into the overall church structure, ministries, and get them connected and involved for personal spiritual development and service to others. A critical relational and oversight role that equips Coordinators to recruit, equip, develop, and lead teams to assist in the fulfillment of the vision and mission of these ministries. Directs Coordinators for all Fit Team, Weekend & Events Coordinator, Dream Team, and the "Discover Live Oaks" Teams. Responsible for all administration, coordination, development, and promotion of all Connection ministries. Key Responsibilities
- Align with the Lead Pastor's intent for vision, values, philosophy, and culture.
- Designs and stewards the church's Connection Pathway with clear next steps that help people connect relationally and meaningfully.
- Develops leaders and volunteers by building systems that recruit, train, support, and sustain healthy ministry teams across connections environments.
- Strengthens by monitoring participation health, identifying gaps, and proactively addressing barriers to connection and growth.
- Collaborates with other ministry leaders to ensure ministries are aligned, well-communicated, and integrated into the broader life of the church.
- Evaluates and refines systems regularly
- celebrating wins, adjusting strategy, and scaling ministry structures as the church grows.
- Fulfills all other responsibilities as assigned.

$60,000.00 per year
