Job Description

Role Overview The Director of Worship & Arts helps Treeline Church accomplish it s overall vision to cultivate authentic followers of Jesus by being the primary worship leader for our gatherings, leading the worship & arts staff, developing worship leaders, and overseeing the technical production of all gatherings and special events. Primary Areas of Responsibility Plan, Lead, steward, and supervise all of our worship gatherings, including Sunday morning gatherings, Salt Company gatherings (Wednesday nights), and special events. Communicate effectively with staff and volunteers, managing schedules and providing all necessary resources for rehearsals and services. Serve as a member of our directorial staff, participating in director meetings and helping to champion the overall vision of the church with the other directors. Provide leadership, supervision, and development for the worship & arts staff. Invest in the spiritual growth of the worship team by providing care and fostering a familial, collaborative, supportive, and humble team environment. Identify, recruit, audition, train, and disciple worship team and tech volunteers. Steward, utilize and improve all of our worship technology. Develop and manage the annual worship, tech and arts budget. Have a heart of eager servanthood and be a team player on our staff team, understanding that job responsibilities may expand beyond the responsibilities listed in this job description as need arises. Qualifications Has a mature Christian faith with a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Lives a life that is above reproach, marked by humility, integrity, and a servant s heart. Possesses a deep passion for worship and a heart for shepherding people. A demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively within a staff team. A demonstrated joy for evangelism, discipleship and mission. Strong vocal ability and proficiency in one or more musical instruments (e.g., guitar, piano). Strong musical knowledge, particularly relating to musically arranging a band and vocalists. Knowledge of the Nashville Number System is preferred. Background in worship technology and sound engineering is preferred. At least 1 full-time year of experience leading worship in a church as a staff member.
