Our studio combines high-level music education with a fun, family-oriented environment that supports students of all ages and skill levels. This position is ideal for teachers who are both musically skilled and genuinely enjoy working with students ranging from young beginners to adults. Duties Teach weekly private lessons in your primary instrument(s) Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons for students of varying skill levels Communicate professionally with students, parents, and studio staff Encourage consistent progress while fostering a positive learning environment Maintain reliability, punctuality, and professionalism Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Music Performance, Music Education, or related field Formal music training required Previous teaching experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with children, teens, and adults Warm, patient, and professional teaching style Multi-instrumental ability is a plus but not required Position Details Independent contractor position In-person lessons at our commercial studio space in East Mesa Online lessons via Zoom available as needed Flexible part-time scheduling Competitive hourly pay: $25-35/hour based on experience and qualifications About Desert Music Studio Desert Music Studio is a growing music school focused on providing high-quality music education in a supportive and engaging environment.
