We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate saxophonist to join our teaching team for Monday and Thursday evening lessons, primarily working with middle school and adult students. At Music Maker Workshops, we handle all scheduling, make-up coordination, and billing so our teachers can focus on what matters most: teaching and inspiring students. Schedule Monday & Thursday evenings Part-time position Our Mission To Unite Our Studio Family with Moments that Matter Company Values Joy With inspired hearts and ignited minds, we cultivate a joyful appreciation for learning and sharing music. Responsibilities Teach engaging and effective saxophone lessons to middle school, teens and adult students Prepare students for recitals, showcases, and performances Communicate consistently and professionally with parents and students Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff Support studio initiatives designed to attract and retain students Requirements Make a 12-month teaching commitment to provide consistency for students Be patient, kind, professional, and respectful with students of all ages and skill levels Demonstrate reliability, strong communication, and a positive attitude Qualifications Degree in Music Education, Saxophone Performance, or related field preferred Strong saxophone performance and teaching background required Clarinet proficiency is highly preferred Applicants must complete a reference check and background screening Additional Information In-person teaching only (not remote)
