Employment Type Full Time Qualifications:
Valid Arizona Arts Education, PreK-12 Music Certificate OR Teaching Certificate with Music Endorsement Current IVP Fingerprint Card Knowledge of elementary music pedagogy and instrumental music instruction Ability to teach a range of instruments typically included in a beginning band program. Experience teaching both elementary music and middle school band Experience integrating music into school culture and events Occasional evening events for concerts/performances Ability to develop and maint
Duties and Responsibilities:
Elementary Music:
Plan and deliver standards-based music instruction aligned with Arizona Academic Standards in the Arts Teach fundamental music concepts including rhythm, melody, harmony, movement, and basic instruments Incorporate singing, movement, instruments, and creative expression into lessons Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs Support school culture through music integration (assemblies, programs, CKH connections, etc.)
Middle School Band:
