https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LewAPEh7B2c Key Responsibilities Teach general music classes for assigned grade levels (K-10). Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate music instruction. Introduce students to basic music theory, rhythm, melody, composer study/music appreciation and vocal skills, and provide group instruction in instruments such as recorder, handbells, or other instruments. Lead choir rehearsals and prepare students for performances as appropriate. Encourage student participation in school programs, concerts, and chapel services. Integrate biblical principles and Christian values into music instruction. Maintain a positive, orderly, and encouraging classroom environment. Communicate effectively with administration, staff, and parents. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field (preferred) Teaching experience in classroom or music instruction (preferred) Experience organizing and leading a student band (preferred) Ability to teach vocal and/or instrumental music Strong classroom management and communication skills A committed Christian with a heart for Christian education Ability to integrate faith and learning in the classroom Are of good moral character and health Can pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting Agree with our Statement of Faith, mission, philosophy, and employment policies
