Irvine Academy of Music is a professional music academy specializing in private music instruction in Irvine, California. We are a growing company and are currently looking for instructors in all instruments and voice . Brass instructor needed immediately.

Teachers will expected to:

• Plan individual lessons for your pupils; Students range in age from 5 years old
• Adults
• Teach individual lessons lasting from 30 minutes to an hour, incorporating elements of general musicianship, ear training and theory, as well as instrumental/vocal technique and interpretation;
• Develop your knowledge of materials and repertoire for students at different stages of their musical development;
• Communicate with parents about their child's lessons and progress;
• Prepare pupils for performances, examinations, auditions and recitals.

$26.00

• $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 6
• 40 per week

Qualifications Proven instrumental performance or music education, including one-on-one instruction and curriculum planning Ability to develop and adapt instructional materials; strong classroom management and student engagement skills Experience working with diverse learners (children and adults), including parent communication and collaboration Background in creative arts instruction; familiarity with photography, dance (ballet/dancing), and culinary activities is a plus Relevant certifications in music or education preferred; willingness to design age-appropriate curricula and assessments
