Comments and Other Information Global Education Academy (GEA) a high performing inner-city school, is looking for an elementary music teacher. This position is for the 2025-26 school year. We are seeking an engaging music instructor/teacher who:
  • Is able to supervise and manage a class of up to 42 students
  • Knowledgeable on designing curriculum and lesson plans
  • Has strong classroom management skills
  • Enjoys working with children
  • Has a positive attitude and is able to work cooperatively with other staff
  • Has prior experience in tutoring and teaching music
  • Able to teach music through a variety of planned music experiences that include singing, moving to music, and playing instruments
  • Coordinate performances for school assemblies, seasonal programs, and other events as needed.
Our Goal Global Education Academy's goal is to develop citizens of the world who are successful leaders not only in their local communities, but in the international community as well. Global Education Academy will provide students with a wide variety of linguistic and cultural experiences that give students the opportunity to develop a true understanding and respect for all people. Through a balanced curriculum that addresses academic, linguistic, social, physical, and emotional development, students will close the achievement gap. Global Education Academy will create a safe and challenging learning environment for students, parents, and faculty that emphasizes global awareness and leadership.
