VIOLIN TEACHER
to join our teaching team at Camino Music Studio!
Qualifications:
AT LEAST 2
years of teaching and lesson preparation experience with children to adults Earned or working towards Bachelor's Degree in Music, Education highly preferred Demonstrate comprehensive ability and experience in preferred instrument and a strong foundation in Music Theory (Knowledge & Experience with other instruments is a plus!) Must have experience teaching special needs children and young adults Effective communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills Must be flexible and able to adhere to the teaching schedule provided Must be willing to conduct lessons both virtually by means of video-communication platforms (eg. Zoom) AND in-person. Must have reliable transportation to studio
Responsibilities :
Conduct weekly private lesson instruction Private lessons conducted for children through adults and beginner to advanced level Report on students' progress and workload Advise students and parents on goal setting and improvement, while encouraging fun and inspiration Must be willing to volunteer time to assist and participate in annual recitals Willingness to contribute to a committed teaching staff team
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
