Music Speaks Studio is looking for an enthusiastic Early Childhood Music Teacher to lead our youngest "Mini Musicians" (ages 6 months to 6 years) in South San Diego. We aren't just looking for an instructor; we're looking for someone who understands that a lifelong love of music begins with a giggle, a drum beat, and a dance. The Ideal Candidate Loves Young Children:
You understand that teaching a 3-year-old is about movement, play, and joy just as much as rhythm.
Versatile Musician:
Ideally, you have strong skills in at least two areas (such as Piano, Voice, Guitar, or Drums) to help transition students as they grow.
Availability:
Available for our "Peak Joy" hours—afternoons, evenings, and weekends when our families are most active.
Inclusive & Adaptive Educator:
The ideal candidate will also be working with special needs and neuro-diverse musicians. You have a patient, welcoming approach and can seamlessly adapt lessons to ensure every child feels successful and supported.
Job Requirements Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
Music Experience:
3 years of taking music lessons (Preferred).
Teaching Experience:
1 year of teaching experience (Preferred, but we will train the right person).
Commute:
