Job Description

Pacific Community Music School Instructor (Temporary Employee Pool)
Primary Purpose:
Instructor for Pacific Community Music School.
Essential Functions:
Provide instruction in the form of private and group lessons on the Stockton campus. Teach theory/musicianship courses and maintain an active studio throughout the year. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance. One (1) year of teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Three (3) years of documented teaching experience. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.

Work Environment/Work Week/Travel:
Requires extended periods of sitting and standing, bending and stooping, and occasional walking. Work is primarily performed in a standard classroom environment.
Hiring Range:
$56.70 per hour; We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
