Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic School Music Instructor specializing in Vocal training to inspire and develop young talents. In this role, you will create engaging music programs, nurture students' vocal abilities, and foster a love for music across diverse age groups. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help students discover their unique voices, build confidence, and enjoy the transformative power of music. Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive vocal curriculum tailored to various age groups and skill levels Lead engaging singing lessons that develop vocal technique, pitch, tone, and musicality Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, participation, and self-expression Manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining an energetic and motivating atmosphere Prepare students for performances, recitals, or showcases by guiding rehearsals and providing constructive feedback Incorporate diverse musical genres and styles to broaden students' musical horizons Collaborate with other educators to integrate music education into broader curricula when appropriate Requirements Proven experience in teaching vocals or singing, with a strong background in music education Ability to develop creative lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and developmental stages Excellent classroom management skills to maintain an organized, respectful learning environment Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in educational or performance settings Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning techniques for music instruction Familiarity with theater arts, dancing, or other performing arts is a plus for holistic arts integration Strong communication skills to motivate students and engage parents or guardians when necessary
Pay:
$29.44 - $35.46 per hour
