Job Description

Collegiate Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual with proven classroom skills to serve as a Part Time K-12 Music Teacher beginning in Fall 2025. The Music Teacher will support the school's goals of fostering an innovative, student-centered approach to teaching and learning that will motivate students to excel. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for music, both at the general music level for elementary as well as more advanced/specialized instruction for middle and high school aged musicians. Why Collegiate? This role provides the opportunity to be a part of a small and supportive family of teachers and staff working with small class sizes (generally under 15 students) to individualize learning for each student. In a community that serves the PK3-12 spectrum, the successful candidate will build and benefit from long-term relationships with families as students progress through the learning continuum and feel the satisfaction of seeing their impact as a teacher over time.
Professional Responsibilities :
Develop and implement engaging music lessons tailored to students' needs and abilities based on established curriculum. Manage classroom dynamics to create a positive and effective learning environment. Provide individualized support and differentiation to students, fostering their musical growth. Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and expectations. Organize concerts and performances to showcase learning and enhance student experience. Maintain an organized classroom and ensure all materials are readily available for lessons.
