Position:
Pit Percussion-RHS Marching Band
Description:
The pit percussion instructor leads the pit percussion in executing all aspects of the fall marching band season.
Duties include:
teaching at summer camp rehearsals, instructing the RHS RAM pit percussion during band camp, instructing the RHS RAM pit percussion during all fall marching band evening rehearsals and Saturday season camp days, supervising the RHS RAM pit percussion during away competitions, and during all home football games. The pit percussion instructor should be able to supervise/instruct students in all aspects of the pit percussion section: playing with correct technique, playing with correct posture, and teaching the students about proper care and maintenance of the Pit percussion instruments. The RHS pit percussion instructor reports directly to/ is under the direct supervision of the Rockville High School Director of Bands.
Hourly Rate:
