Job Summary Join our vibrant team as an
Enrichment Teacher:
Bucket Drum Instructor, where your passion for music, creativity, and childhood development will inspire young learners to explore rhythm, teamwork, and self-expression. In this role, you will create 40-minute bucket drumming lesson plans centered that will foster musical skills, coordination, and confidence. As a culminating activity, the students will perform at a community event in early August. Duties Develop and implement curriculum focused on bucket drumming techniques, rhythm exercises, and percussion-based activities tailored to various age groups, likely 3rd-5th graders. Lead engaging and energetic classes that promote active participation, creativity, and teamwork among children. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning and exploration. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth in musical skills and confidence. Requirements Experience in teaching children or working with youth in educational or enrichment settings. Background in music or arts programs; familiarity with percussion instruments preferred. Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate diverse learners of all ages. Experience working with students from underserved communities a plus, but not required.
Pay:
$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
