In person About Capitol Harmony School of Music Capitol Harmony School of Music is a growing music school based in Georgetown, Washington, DC. We provide high quality, individualized music instruction in a supportive, inspiring, and creative environment for students of all ages and levels. Our programs currently include private piano, guitar, and voice lessons, as well as early childhood music classes. Lessons take place at St. John's Episcopal Church and L'Enfant Gallery in Georgetown. We are currently seeking passionate and reliable teachers in the following areas: Piano Voice Guitar Preference will be given to candidates who are able to teach multiple disciplines, particularly piano and voice. Responsibilities Provide engaging private music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels Develop individualized lesson plans based on each student's goals and learning style Foster a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment Prepare interested students for recitals, performances, auditions, or competitions Communicate professionally with parents and adult students regarding progress and scheduling Maintain punctuality and professionalism in all teaching activities Participate in occasional recitals and school events Qualifications Strong performance and teaching background in piano, voice, or guitar Passion for music education and student development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to teach students of different ages and experience levels Bachelor's degree in Music, Performance, Music Education, or related field preferred Master's degree preferred Previous teaching experience preferred Compensation $65 per hour.
