Job Description

For the 2026-2027 school year, Laniakea Montessori School is searching for a flexible, experienced music teacher to instruct 3 classes of children, ages 6-9, 9-12, and 12-16 for one-hour long classes each week. Music instruction should include music theory, history and composers, singing and some musical instrumentation (bells, percussion, recorders, etc.). Classes generally take place between 1 and 3:00, though the exact schedule is somewhat flexible. We are also looking for a candidate who may be available for additional substitute hours on an as-need basis.
