Job Description
Overview Melodía School of Music is seeking passionate and dedicated teachers to join our music faculty. The position is for our physical location in Normandy Isle, as well as a schools in Miami Beach, and in home lessons in Miami Shores and Miami Beach, so willingness to travel is a must. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music, particularly in pedagogy, and a genuine love for teaching students of all ages. This role involves creating a positive learning environment where students can develop their musical skills, foster creativity, and gain confidence in their abilities. Responsibilities Travel to different schools and students homes to teach lessons Teach instrument techniques, music theory, and performance skills to students of varying ages and abilities. Have a reliable source of transportation. Prepare students for recitals and performances organized by Sol Music Studios. Experience Proven experience in performance or music education is preferred. Experience working with children and students of all ages. Must be able to read music, no tablature allowed. Join us in inspiring the next generation of musicians through the art of music!
