Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to students' skill levels and musical interests Teach electric guitar techniques, music theory, and performance skills in engaging, interactive sessions Manage classroom behavior to ensure a respectful and focused learning environment Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including special education needs when applicable Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement Prepare students for performances or recitals to showcase their growth and boost confidence Collaborate with fellow instructors to enhance curriculum development and share best practices Requirements Proven experience in teaching electric guitar or related musical instruments with a strong understanding of curriculum development Excellent classroom management skills combined with the ability to work effectively with children, teens, and adults Strong knowledge of music theory, performance techniques, and lesson planning strategies Ability to create engaging lessons that motivate students of varying ages and skill levels Prior experience working with students in educational or extracurricular settings is highly desirable Passion for music education and fostering a positive learning atmosphere Additional skills such as photography, ballet, cooking, childcare, dancing, theater, sewing, or early childhood education are considered a plus but are not required Join us in shaping the next generation of musicians!
