The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth. This role involves developing and implementing curriculum, managing classroom behavior, and providing individualized support to students. The Elementary/Middle School Music Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and promoting a love for learning. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards. Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain an orderly classroom environment. Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, cooperation, and enthusiasm for learning. Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; teaching certification preferred. Experience in teaching music education is a plus. Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively and implement behavior management strategies. Experience in private school settings is advantageous but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Familiarity with curriculum development processes is desirable. A passion for working with children and fostering their academic growth.
