  • Overview
  • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Piano Instructor to join our team. The Instructor will be responsible for teaching students of all ages, providing a supportive and engaging learning environment, and helping students achieve their goals. This role is ideal for musicians who are passionate about teaching and have a strong background in music.
  • Duties
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum and meet the needs of our students.
  • Teach students in a one on one setting, using a variety of instructional techniques to promote student learning.
  • Use positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide individualized support and instruction to students who need extra help.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendence and communicate with parents and guardians as needed.
  • Qualifications
  • Experience working with students of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Strong management skills, with the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing curriculum.
  • Ability to use behavior management techniques to promote student behavior and well-being.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Skills
  • Experience in theater, music performance or education is a plus.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and classroom management techniques is essential.
  • Experience working with students with special needs or challenging behaviors is highly valued.
  • Ability to work effectively with children of all ages is a critical skill.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students succeed are essential for this role.
