  • and that mission applies just as much to our teachers as it does to our students. Job Summary We are seeking experienced piano instructors to teach small-group classes (2-7 students) for all ages
  • elementary through teen students
  • for the 2026-27 school year.
This role is ideal for an educator who is dependable, engaging, and confident leading structured group instruction using a written curriculum. Evening availability is required.
Schedule:
We can fit within your schedule. Sunday through Thursday evenings are available, starting Fall 2026 (training begins August 2026)
Commitment:
One or more evenings per week, from August 2026 through May 2027
Training:
Paid, structured training, including curriculum mastery, classroom management, and group teaching techniques. Provided until you're fully prepared to teach on your own What You'll Do Teach 55-minute group classes using our proprietary curriculum covering musicianship, theory, technique, and more Play an 88 key, fully weighted digital studio piano Prepare students to perform in our fun and engaging events with confidence Foster a positive, kind, and encouraging classroom culture while teaching in a professional and enthusiastic manner Collaborate with the Arrow Team and attend monthly staff meetings Lead teen classroom assistants Track student progress and communicate effectively with students and parents Reward students' excellence and effort with our fun in-studio store Represent Arrow in a professional, child-centered manner Focus on music education, keeping personal and political agendas aside (It's all about the kids and music!) Who You Are You should apply if you are someone who: Has strong piano skills and is willing to learn to teach piano in a group setting Can communicate clearly and positively with children, parents and other Arrow staff Brings patience, creativity, and professionalism to the classroom Has teaching experience or equivalent experience working with children Can commit to consistent weekly teaching and show willingness to substitute for other instructors as needed and schedule allows Is comfortable signing a non-compete agreement due to the proprietary nature of our curriculum Preferred, and possibly required based on level of class being taught: Bachelor's Degree with major or minor in music, or working toward degree 2 + years of piano teaching experience Why Join Arrow Academy?
Paid Training:
$20/hour for training until you're prepared to teach on your own
Compensation:
$38
  • $45 per class taught based on qualifications.
Payroll is once a month You can just teach! All scheduling, billing, marketing, and admin work is handled by our team
Paid Time Off:
There is one (1) paid absence per semester, per teaching day, for holiday, illness or weather cancellation Incremental pay raises: based on performance and experience
