We were founded by experienced teachers and musicians dedicated to fostering a love of music in students of all ages and committed to providing an environment where our teachers can excel. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic part-time guitar teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music education and a talent for inspiring young learners. The teacher will conduct individual lessons for students of all ages in their homes. Teachers can accept as many or as few students as they like and set their own teaching schedule in locations that work well for them. Responsibilities Create lesson plans that cater to the needs and skill levels of each student. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their playing and understanding of music. Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on students' progress and set goals for improvement. Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment, fostering a love of music in each student. Communicate with City Strings & Piano staff in a timely manner regarding potential and current students. Qualifications Proficiency in guitar and a strong understanding of music theory. Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching young learners. A degree in music or music education is preferred but not required. Ability to travel to students' homes within designated areas.
