Full-Time Music TeacherPrivate Catholic School | Lemont, Illinois A private Catholic school in Lemont, Illinois is seeking a full-time Music Teacher to join our dedicated faculty for the upcoming school year. This position offers the opportunity to inspire students through music while supporting the mission of a faith-filled, academically strong Catholic education.

Position Overview:

The Music Teacher will provide engaging, developmentally appropriate music instruction to students, fostering an appreciation for music, creativity, and performance. The ideal candidate will integrate faith, joy, and excellence into classroom instruction and contribute positively to our school community.

Responsibilities Include:

Teaching general music classes to students at various grade levels Introducing and developing foundational musical skills, including rhythm, melody, and movement Preparing students for school liturgies, performances, and special events Collaborating with classroom teachers and administration Creating a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment Supporting the Catholic identity and mission of the school

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Music Teaching certification preferred but not required Experience working with children in an educational setting Strong classroom management and communication skills Practicing Catholic preferred, with a commitment to modeling Catholic values
