Private Music Instructor

Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is looking for talented individuals to be Private Music Instructors for our Patriot Recreation Education Program (PREP).

Description:

We are seeking professional Private Music Lesson Instructors to provide high-quality, one-on-one music instruction to high school students during the school day and to youth and adults from the community during after-school and evening hours. Instructors should be experienced music educators with strong content knowledge, a polished teaching practice, and the ability to work effectively with learners of varying ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Ideal candidates are committed to fostering a growth mindset and creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to take risks, set goals, and build confidence through music. Instructors should have prior experience teaching students and adults, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping learners develop both technical skills and a lifelong appreciation for music. Salary and Benefits:
