Job Description

Choral and General Music Teacher - Grades 6-8 Must have Illinois Professional Educator License Must have Music Endorsement for grade level 2026-27
School Year Performance Responsibilities:
This position includes teaching three grade levels (6th, 7th, 8th grade) mixed choirs and 6th grade general music. The successful candidate will have experience in choral conducting, broad knowledge in selecting appropriate choral repertoire for middle school voices, a vision for recruitment and retention, possess piano skills, a strong collaborative spirit, communication, public relations and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be able to build positive and collaborative relationships with fellow music teachers and a positive and energetic rapport with students.
