Parish/School:
John Paul II Academy Description:
John Paul II Academy is seeking a part-time Music Teacher (grades K-8) for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for a dedicated and faith-filled educator who will inspire students to grow academically, spiritually, and personally within a strong Catholic school community.
Qualifications:
Demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and the mission of a faith-based school Have experience teaching music curriculum Possess a strong understanding of general music and instructional best practices Implement effective classroom management strategies Utilize differentiated instruction and provide appropriate student accommodations Collaborate effectively with students, families, faculty, and administration Exhibit strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Requirements (can have one or more of the following): Bachelor's or Master's degree with an emphasis on Music Valid Kentucky Teaching Certificate in Music(or eligibility for certification) Experience working with middle school students in an educational setting

We seek a teacher who is passionate about music, committed to academic excellence, and dedicated to forming students in mind, heart, and faith. The ideal candidate will embrace the mission of John Paul II Academy and contribute positively to our supportive and faith-centered school culture.
