Description:
POSITION
Powers Music School seeks an experienced violin instructor with outstanding abilities to teach students of all ages and levels. The current string department isposed of 20 faculty members who teach private lessons, coach chamber music, and run orchestra sectionals.
DUTIES:
  • Teach private lessons
  • Teach chamber music based on department need
  • Attend annual faculty meeting
  • Explore opportunities for enrollment growth
  • Potential opportunities to work with the school's summer programs
START:
Fall 2026
COMPENSATION:
$50
  • 55 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in performance, pedagogy, or equivalent work experience
  • Documented successful teaching experience
  • Effectivemunication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
