Description:
Are you passionate about joyful, movement-based music learning? The Concord Conservatory of Music (CCM) is seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood & Group Keyboard Instructor with a strong Dalcroze foundation to join our vibrant,munity-centered music school in MetroWest Boston. At CCM, early childhood music is active, playful, and rooted in creativity. Our classrooms are weing spaces w young children explore rhythm, expression, and musicality through movement, imagination, and hands-on music-making. We value educators who bring curiosity, collaboration, and a deep respect for how young children learn. the Role If you are a group keyboard or Dalcroze instructor, please , as the position can be divided.
Schedule:
Saturday mornings and one weekday afternoon
Ages:
3-6 years You will:
  • Teach engaging, developmentally informed early childhood music classes
  • Incorporate Dalcroze principles to support musical understanding through movement
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of each class
  • Collaborate with CCM's early childhood faculty to shape curriculum and best practices
  • Communicate with parents to support learning, retention, andmunity engagement
  • Teach two days per week, including
Saturdays Qualifications:
Education
  • BA in Music, Music Education, or an arts-related field with strong musical proficiency
  • Dalcroze Certificate preferred
  • Orff or Kodály training weed Experience
  • Minimum 3 years teaching young children (ages 3-6) in a classroom setting
  • Strong intuition, enthusiasm, and classroom management skills
  • Excellentmunication with both children and parents
  • Organized, collaborative, andmitted to high-quality early childhood music education
