Position Description We seek a part time music teacher (one day a week) for the 2026-2027 school year who is a dynamic and passionate individual who loves teaching music and understands how to engage PrK-6 students. The EHS curriculum is thematic and interdisciplinary and candidates must be creative, collaborative, and skilled at engaging all aged students. Applicants must have sensitivity to the social needs of children, excellent organizational skills, and be driven to explore ways to reach all learners. Applicants must have references that speak to their ability to develop positive relationships with students and colleagues. The position requires the ability to inspire curiosity and creativity in students, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Delivering appropriate lessons using a variety of teaching strategies Designing and conducting choral concerts that include both Hebrew and English songs Integrating technology as needed to enhance instruction Attending all required faculty meetings and school sponsored events Supporting the mission, philosophy, and core values of
EHS Qualifications:
Minimum of a bachelors degree in music/music education ~ masters degree preferred 3-5 years classroom teaching experience with students in PrK-6 age range Knowledge of Dalcroze, Orff, and Kodaly, Garage Band, BandLab Experience teaching xylophone, drum, ukulele, and keyboard Experience leading choral concerts including singing in
