About Us Next Level Music Academy, part of the Ja'Duke family of performing arts programs, offers private and small-group instruction in voice, piano, guitar, drums, ukulele, and more. Our mission is to nurture confident, expressive, and technically skilled young performers in a supportive and creative environment. Position Summary We are seeking an energetic and inspiring Voice Teacher to join our team at the end of August 2026 for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate is passionate about vocal pedagogy and youth development, comfortable working with students of all ages and skill levels, and excited to contribute to a collaborative performing-arts community. Responsibilities Teach weekly private voice lessons (ages 6-adult). Develop personalized lesson plans that balance technique, repertoire, and performance skills. Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and musical theatre productions. Communicate progress regularly with parents and academy staff. Support occasional showcases, performances, or community events. Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional classroom atmosphere. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Music, Vocal Performance, Music Education, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). Strong knowledge of vocal technique, sight-singing, and music theory. Experience teaching children and teens in private or group settings. Musical theatre experience a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. Schedule & Compensation Part-time; typically weekday afternoons and evenings. Compensation based on experience and student load. Opportunities to expand teaching hours as enrollment grows. All sheet music, tracks, and equipment will be provided.
