You'll teach not just songs—but the fundamentals of music in a creative, performance-based setting.
Your Core Responsibilities:
Teach private lessons Use the School of Rock Method™, books, and app to create customized lesson plans Prepare students for live performances and instill essential music and life skills Provide constructive, motivating feedback in person and via the Method App Communicate regularly with students and parents to track progress and engagement Support the school during events, rehearsals, and last-minute schedule changes What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience teaching or performing music professionally Solid knowledge of music theory, technique, and instructional design Enthusiastic, flexible, and patient personality Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfortable working with students of varying ages and skill levels Team player who thrives in a collaborative, creative environment Preferred Skills (but not required) Band experience Prior experience with performance-based education Familiarity with the School of Rock Method™ is a plus Ready to Rock?
