Fiddling/Folk Instructor, Bowed Strings and Guitar Description:

Teach fiddling and folk music on various string instruments to children and adults. Start summer or fall 2026. Prefer candidate who can also teach classical music if possible. One afternoon/evening a week initially, day TBD. Wayland School of Music is a thriving school with a reputation for excellence, in a town that values music education. Compensation is hourly, at a ratepetitive with other local schools of similar high quality. Overall annualpensation depends on growth of studio and total number of hours taught. All lessons are in one location. Student attendance policies underscore respect for teachers' time and professionalism, and are firmly upheld.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Music Education or Music Performance Minimum 8-10 years professional teaching experience Performance credits that demonstrate professional-level performingpetence Enthusiasm for teaching and ability to connect with students of all ages and levels Punctuality and professionalism
