Suzuki Training Description:
Seeking a highly-qualified candidate to teach private piano lessons with both Suzuki and traditional methodology, to children and adults. Start summer or fall 2026. MUST have Suzuki training registered with SAA, OR be willing to train immediately. Prefer one candidate for five afternoons/evenings a week to take over established studio, or could split between two qualified candidates if necessary. Total about 18-20 hours weekly. Wayland School of Music is a thriving school with a reputation for excellence, in a town that values music education. Compensation is hourly, at a ratepetitive with other local schools of similar high quality. Overall annualpensation depends on growth of studio and total number of hours taught. All lessons are in one location. Student attendance policies underscore respect for teachers' time and professionalism, and are firmly upheld.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Music Education or Music Performance Suzuki training registered with SAA through book 2, OR willingness to train immediately Minimum 8-10 years professional teaching experience Performance credits that demonstrate professional-level performingpetence Enthusiasm for teaching and ability to connect with all ages/levels Punctuality and professionalism
