Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and energetic Private Lesson Instructor specializing in Violin, Piano, or Voice to inspire and nurture students of all ages and skill levels. In this role, you will deliver personalized, engaging lessons that foster musical growth, confidence, and creativity. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help students develop their technical skills, musicality, and love for the arts in a supportive learning environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' musical journeys while honing your teaching craft. Responsibilities Design and deliver customized private lessons tailored to each student's age, skill level, and musical interests Develop comprehensive curricula that incorporate technical exercises, repertoire selection, and performance preparation Create a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages student engagement and confidence-building Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement Manage lesson planning logistics, including scheduling, lesson documentation, and progress tracking Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and special educational needs Foster a safe, respectful environment that promotes discipline, creativity, and enjoyment of music Skills Strong background in violin, piano or voice performance with professional training or equivalent experience Proven ability to develop effective curriculum plans aligned with student goals and abilities Excellent teaching skills with experience working with children, teens, or adults in educational settings Classroom management skills to maintain focus and discipline during lessons Experience tutoring students of varying ages and skill levels in music education Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Ability to incorporate additional skills such as photography, ballet, cooking, theater or sewing into creative lesson plans is a plus Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support positive learning experiences Experience working with special education needs or early childhood education is advantageous Join us in shaping the next generation of musicians by providing inspiring lessons that ignite passion and unlock potential.
