We are currently seeking instructors for: Piano Guitar Bass Guitar Drums Brass Woodwinds Voice This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers, performers, music education students, and private lesson instructors looking to grow with a new community-focused music school. About Us Shoreview School of Music is a private music studio focused on high-quality instruction, strong student relationships, and long-term musical growth. We work with students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians preparing for auditions, performances, and school music programs. Our studio is conveniently located at: 123 Village Center Drive North Oaks, MN 55127 Position Details Independent contractor role $30 per hour Flexible scheduling Part-time Afternoon, evening, and weekend availability preferred What We Provide Fully equipped private lesson rooms Students and lead generation Marketing and advertising support Administrative and scheduling support Basic teaching supplies Guaranteed pay for scheduled lessons even if a student does not attend their lesson 10% employee discount in our retail shop Opportunity to grow your personal studio without handling business operations Responsibilities Teach weekly private lessons Create a positive and encouraging learning environment Help students prepare for recitals, school performances, and auditions Communicate professionally with parents and staff Track student progress and attendance Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled lessons Qualifications Previous teaching experience preferred Strong playing and sight-reading skills Ability to work with children, teens, and adults Music degree or current music education/performance studies preferred but not required Reliable, professional, and personable To Apply Please submit: Resume Instruments/areas taught Teaching experience Availability Optional performance or teaching videos Selected applicants will be invited for an in-person interview and short playing demonstration.
