Role Summary As the Intermediate Music Teacher, you are responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive music curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. You will guide students through the transition from general music to more technical applications, including music literacy, intermediate vocal techniques, and introductory instrumental instruction. You will lead school performances that showcase student growth and foster a vibrant arts culture within the building. Why You'll Succeed (Qualifications)

Certified Professional:

Valid Missouri Teaching Certification in K-12 Music (Vocal or Instrumental).

Degree Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Music Education; Master's Degree preferred.

Instructional Versatility:

You know how to engage 9-to-11-year-olds, balancing technical music theory with fun, hands-on performance opportunities.

Performance Leader:

You have experience directing school-wide concerts and managing the logistics of student performances.

Culturally Responsive:
