Job Description

Job Summary St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic School is seeking a Suzuki Violin Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher is responsible for providing violin instruction using the Suzuki Method while supporting the mission and philosophy of Catholic education.
Responsibilities:
Provide violin instruction to students using the Suzuki Method Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons Work with students individually and/or in small groups Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and families Prepare students for performances and school events as applicable Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment Communicate effectively with parents and school staff Participate in school meetings and professional development as requiredQualifications:
Training and certification in the Suzuki Method preferred Bachelor's degree in Music or related field preferred Experience teaching violin to children Ability to work collaboratively with families and school staff Commitment to supporting Catholic education The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
