This position includes Elementary General Music and Middle School Choir, serving students in PreK through 8th grade. The ideal candidate will inspire students through music while helping them develop their musical abilities, confidence, and appreciation for the arts.

Responsibilities:

Teach General Music to students in PreK-8th grade Direct and lead the Middle School Choir Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons that develop rhythm, vocal technique, music appreciation, and foundational music knowledge Provide opportunities for students to perform and grow in confidence through music Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity and participation Integrate faith and biblical values into music instruction when appropriate Collaborate with teachers and staff to support school programs, concerts, and events Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and performance opportunities Participate in school activities, performances, and professional development Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field Ability to obtain ACSI Certification Experience teaching elementary students preferred Strong classroom management and organizational skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Pay:

$38,625.39 - $43,742.41 per year
