Job Description

About us We are a set of thriving music studios with a stellar reputation in the greater artistic community of Western NC and Asheville, NC (We teach the children of the local college & university music faculty, as one small example), and we work with students of all ages and levels, from beginners through conservatory prep. We're seeking like-minded, engaging, encouraging music mentors to welcome onto our team of instructors, performers, & collaborators. The support we offer to our instructors is unparalleled, and we look forward to sharing more about who we are and what we do! We are looking especially for instructors with a degree in piano. However, we would accept someone with excellent piano skills who majored in another music discipline, and your ability to teach more than one instrument/area would also be a plus. Preferred, but not required:
  • previous teaching experience
  • group class experience
  • prior experience working with students with special needs
  • prior experience working in summer camp programs
  • ability to teach more than one instrument.
This could be a great position not only an enthusiastic piano instructor, but also for anyone who is interested in expanding their performance opportunities and resume. Asheville is a great base-of-operations for someone who is looking for a balanced career in performance, education and other aspects of the music industry. One of the greatest "side perks" of taking this position is the automatic PR, connection to professional contacts, gigs, etc. Serious candidates will immediately be informed of the name & location of our studios once we've screened for your legitimacy. Spammers will receive no response nor information. :)
