Music Instructor Ballantyne School of Music Charlotte, NC Job Details Part-time From $28 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Music education Reading sheet music Music teacher experience 1 year Teaching Entry level Teaching instrumental performance Full Job Description We are currently seeking passionate and skilled voice, guitar and piano instructors to work Fridays from 3-6PM at our brand new Carmel Village/Ballantyne studio. Applicants must currently live within a 40-minute commute (maximum) of the studio. A minimum daily schedule of 3 hours and commitment to at least 12 months is requested. Music degree is not necessary, but previous teaching experience is a plus. We are able to mentor someone who has strong musical background but is new to teaching. Solid understanding of music theory and ability to read and teach standard notation is required. Performance experience and ability to teach multiple instruments is a plus. Please submit your musician resume and be specific about how long you have been teaching, all instruments which you can teach at a beginner/intermediate level, and to which experience level you can teach piano. •Note that resumes which show no evidence of teaching experience and individuals who do not live within a 30- to 45-minute commute of our teaching studios will not be considered or responded to.
