Learn Music is hiring a vocal instructor to teach private lessons to students of all ages across all genres. We've built our reputation in the Lake Norman area on a simple idea: students learn faster when they're working on music they love, and they grow most when they get on stage. What you'll do Teach private voice lessons using a custom curriculum you build for each student around their goals and the music they care about Cover the fundamentals every singer needs: technique, tone, ear training, music theory, and reading Prepare students for our performance opportunities: Learn Music Live, Learn Music Legends, and local open mics Communicate with parents weekly about progress, assignments, and anything else they need to know Attend a quarterly all-staff meeting (paid) What we're looking for A BA in Vocal Performance (or equivalent experience with verifiable references) Comfort teaching multiple genres — rock, pop, jazz, musical theatre, and choral Strong communication skills, especially with parents of younger students Reliability and warmth: our students stay with us for years, and that starts with their teacher What we offer $25
