Percussion Instructor Livingston Public Schools - 3.8 Livingston, NJ Job Details Seasonal 5 hours ago Qualifications Substitute Teaching Certification Teaching Certification Conducting performance preparation techniques Mid-level Working with high schoolers Drums playing Coaching high school students Teaching Teaching instrumental performance Full Job Description Livingston Public Schools is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the Intermediate Drum Line Instructor for the Livingston High School marching band program for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing and developing students in the competitive drum line program at the intermediate level, including both Battery Percussion and Pit Percussion ensembles. Responsibilities include teaching percussion techniques, preparing students for performances and competitions, and collaborating with the marching band staff to support a successful and engaging program. Candidates must be available to attend on-site band camp from August 17-21, 2026 , as well as rehearsals, performances, and competitions throughout the marching band season. Applicants must hold a valid New Jersey teaching certificate or hold or be eligible for substitute certification.
