Significant employee discounts on music gear and access to our EAP and referral programs. What You'll Do As a Vocal Instructor, you are responsible for all music education-related elements within lessons and rehearsals, ensuring students are both challenged and inspired.

Music Instruction:

Maximize the quality of private lessons and shows. Ensure students learn the fundamentals of music (theory, technique, health), not just songs.

Lesson Planning:

Create and document thoughtful lesson plans tailored to each student's journey.

Customer Connection:

Act as a brand ambassador by communicating regularly with parents on student progress. Be a visible, accessible, and positive presence in the school.

Team Support:

Pitch in during rehearsals, and help execute the overall program while adhering to our safety and supervision policies.

What You Bring Professional Pedigree:

3+ years of experience teaching and/or performing music professionally. (Ideal candidates have formal music school training and are active working musicians).

Technical Knowledge:

Strong grasp of music theory and curriculum design.

Soft Skills:

You are enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and handle a busy environment

Local Connection:

Must live in Northern NJ for a reliable commute to Waldwick.

Schedule & Compensation Availability:

Shifts are available during the following times: Monday•

Thursday:

2:00 PM•9:00

PM Fridays:

2:00 PM•7:00 PM Occasional Saturday show dates.

Commitment:

Candidates must be able to commit to working at least 2 days per week.

Starting Pay:

$20.00•$22.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
