We offer private music lessons for students ages 6 and up, Monday through Saturday, primarily during after-school and evening hours, and are seeking an enthusiastic instructor to provide high-quality instruction to a diverse student base. This position is for our Centennial location. Duties Design and deliver dynamic lessons tailored to students' skill levels and musical interests Demonstrate and teach proper technique, posture, and instrument care Prepare students for performances, auditions, and exams by developing practice routines and repertoire Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth Collaborate with other instructors and staff to coordinate ensemble rehearsals and performance opportunities Maintain a positive, motivating classroom environment that inspires curiosity and perseverance Keep accurate records of student attendance, progress, and lesson plans in accordance with program guidelines Experience Proven experience teaching or performing on Drums/Percussion at a professional or educational level Prior university experience in music education or performance is highly desirable Strong knowledge of music theory, sight-reading, and repertoire relevant to various skill levels Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse learners of all ages Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and learning styles Passion for fostering musical growth and creating an inclusive learning environment Join us in shaping the next generation of musicians!
