Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging and innovative music lesson plans that align with NYS standards and District curriculum, considering the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our students; Responsible for teaching group lessons to Middle School students that includes Woodwinds, Brass and Percussion instruments; Create a welcoming classroom environment where every student feels respected and supported; Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students, including those with varying learning styles and backgrounds; Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success and well-being; and Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance teaching skills.

Salary Range:

$20,840.00

• $46,483.60 (Master's Steps 1-22); $18,828.80
• $39,734.
