Position Overview:

Building:
Elementary Buildings (four schools)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging and innovative music lesson plans that align with NYS State standards and District curriculum, considering the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our students; Responsible for rehearsing elementary school band; Create a welcoming classroom environment where every student feels respected and supported; Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students, including those with varying learning styles and backgrounds; Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success and well-being; and Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance teaching skills.
Compensation:
$150/day: 1-14 days; $180/day: 15-90 days; 90+ days: as per SHEA Contract Job Qualifications
