Summer Camp Musical Teacher

July 6th, 2026 - August 21st, 2026 Monday-Friday Joy Learning Center is a private prep center providing in-person academic enrichment services to students from kindergarten to 8th grade. The K-8 program aims to help students build a strong foundation with the content just completed in school, and then prepare them for the Common Core curriculum and standardized exams topics they will encounter in the upcoming school year. Roles and Responsibilities Teach and rehearse songs, scenes, and choreography for the camp musical production. Coach students on vocal techniques, stage presence, and character development. Help campers learn their lines, lyrics, and stage movements. Lead group rehearsals and provide individual guidance when needed. Collaborate with the camp director and other instructors to organize rehearsals and prepare for the final performance. Encourage teamwork, confidence, and creativity among campers. Assist with basic stage direction, blocking, and performance preparation. Ensure rehearsals run smoothly and on schedule. Qualifications Experience in musical theatre, vocal coaching, or stage performance. Experience working with children or teenagers in an educational or camp setting. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to create a positive, energetic, and inclusive environment. Passion for music, theatre, and youth development.
