Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Acting/Vocal Teacher to inspire and nurture the talents of students across a diverse range of performing arts disciplines. In this role, you will design engaging lesson plans, deliver captivating instruction, and foster a supportive environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and growth. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, your enthusiasm and expertise will help students unlock their full potential in acting and vocal performance. Develop comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to students' age groups and skill levels, incorporating theater techniques, vocal training, and performance skills Deliver energetic and motivating lessons that build students' confidence in acting and singing abilities Manage classroom environments effectively to ensure safety, discipline, and positive engagement for learners of all ages Provide individualized tutoring and feedback to help students improve their technique and stage presence Incorporate diverse activities such as improvisation exercises, voice modulation drills, choreography, and scene work to enrich learning experiences Organize performances, showcases, or recitals that allow students to demonstrate their progress and celebrate their achievements Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, special projects like photography or sewing for costume design, and inclusive education strategies for children with special needs or early childhood education requirements Proven experience in teaching acting, vocal training, or related performing arts disciplines with classroom management expertise Strong background in curriculum development across theater, singing, dancing (including ballet and general movement), and creative arts such as sewing or photography Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, preschool experience, and behavior management techniques Ability to work effectively with children, teenagers, and adult learners in diverse educational settings including special education environments Skills in lesson planning that incorporate theater arts, culinary arts (for themed projects), or other creative activities like cooking or culinary experience as part of holistic arts education Familiarity with classroom experience in arts education programs and working with students with varying needs including preschoolers or those requiring additional support Passion for the arts combined with excellent communication skills to motivate students of all backgrounds Join us to inspire the next generation of performers!
