Job Description:

We are seeking a Music Teacher to join our work in the field of special education. This position provides the opportunity to bring music to children ages 3-12. The Music Teacher will be responsible for bringing developmentally appropriate music instruction in accordance with NYSED guidelines. 12-month position (school calendar plus 6-week summer session)

Hours:

8:30•3:30 Monday to Friday 12-month salary: Commensurate with Education and experience

Bachelors:

$ 55,000•58,900

Masters:

$58,000•61,800 Medical, dental, vision and Aflac plans available; generous PTO; paid school breaks and holidays; 403B plan Discounted Child Care (full or part-time) available on-site The successful candidate will possess: NYSED certification: Teacher of Music Experience with students with disabilities a plus Passion for music and engaging young learners.
